It all started in 1997 when the first book in the series was published and ending with the final film released in 2011. Harry Potter became one of the most beloved children's stories ever told. The main message behind Harry Potter is to love others fiercely despite their faults and to find the courage within oneself to stand up for what is right.
The Story
The Harry Potter books and movies have always been loved by kids and adults alike. The story takes place in a magical world with wizards, witches, and "Muggles" (non-magic folk). Harry is a young wizard who begins his training at the Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry at age 11. He's a Golden Trio member, which means he's a friend of best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The three of them study in the school together and become a tight-knit group. At the onset, Harry's life is pretty horrible. Voldemort, an evil wizard killed his parents when Harry was a baby, leaving him living with his abusive relatives who treat him like a slave rather than family. Then, on the day he turns 11 years.

For the past 20 years, Harry Potter has been a global phenomenon. The series of books by J.K. Rowling first came out in 1997 and ended with the last film in 2011, but fans are still in love with what it stands for. It's about courage and love, despite people's faults. When Rowling wrote the first book, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", she never expected anyone to read it. So when Bloomsbury published it, few people bought it. But as kids purchased the books and started reading them aloud at school, authors such as Stephen King and Roald Dahl praised it and many others.
The Main Message of Harry Potter
The main message of Harry Potter is to love others fiercely despite their faults and to find the courage within oneself to stand up for what is right. Even though this series has some violence and themes that might not be appropriate for younger children, it has managed to captivate children's imaginations worldwide since its introduction in 1997. J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter, who also wrote the first book in the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The following books were respectively named Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The seventh book is planned to be titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
