Etter utgivelsen i mai 2016 har Overwatch blitt en av de mest suksessrike franchisene i Blizzards. For å feire har Funko nettopp kunngjort en helt ny bølge av Overwatch Pop! Vinylfigurer!

Overwatch er satt seksti år inn i fremtiden til en fiksjonalisert jord, tretti år etter oppløsningen av den "omniske krisen". Før den omniske krisen hadde menneskeheten vært i en gullalder med velstand og teknologiutvikling. Mennesker utviklet roboter med kunstig intelligens kalt "Omnics", som ble produsert over hele verden i automatiserte "Omnium" -anlegg og brukt til å oppnå økonomisk likhet, og begynte å bli behandlet som mennesker i seg selv. Den omniske krisen begynte da omniene begynte å produsere en serie dødelige, fiendtlige roboter, som vendte seg mot menneskeheten. FN dannet raskt Overwatch, en internasjonal arbeidsgruppe for å bekjempe den omniske trusselen og gjenopprette orden.

Ordered this Funko as a Christmas gift for my wife, who is a massive Muppets Christmas Carol fan.
The price was right, and in GBP which was encouraging. I became a bit concerned when I did a quick track on my parcel as Christmas was fast approaching, and found that the item was in Australia! I had no idea it was coming from that far, but I had no need to worry as the parcel arrived well before Christmas!
My wife loves it!
Let's face it, who doesn't love the Muppets?!?!
