Some marks and branding on the fur may also be visible. They add charm and character to the rug and are not considered as faults.

Some rugs may have been 'patched' on the underside. Patches are used to cover cuts and holes that can occur during the tanning process. Patches are not usually visible from the fur side of the rug and are not considered as faults.

Our hides are responsibly sourced from Brazil. They are a by-product of the food production industry.
